Today, Germany Celebrates Pfingstmontag

Pfingsten or Christians holiday in Germany, celebrated starting today, Monday May 20, 2013. The Germans call today Pfingstmontag (Montag = Monday). Celebration itself begins 50 days after Easter. In Indonesia, it is known as Pentecost or pentecostal, outpouring of the Holy Spirit as Jesus promised.

If the Jews must celebrate it with a festival celebrating the harvest, Germany today is more on Pfingsmarkt (market tiban) on Pfingsmontag.

How was this Pentecostal market? Here's the story.

Day Monday, May 20, 2013. German skies were gray and the air is still chilly wind strong. This did not prevent the German people to flock to the city to visit Pfingsmarkt Trossingen and Tuttlingen.

Parking everywhere is full, the venue for this tiban market closed. People began crowding the street. We walked like a bridal procession, slowly. Fuss if brought Kinderwagen or alias Buggy stroller can nyendal-foot nyendal hit people. Luckily the children have started to self need not be encouraged anymore. Unfortunately, we often turn to the foot of the carriage subject. hehehehe

Monday was a holiday so. All the stores were closed throughout the 16 states in the country Germany. LKW or banned trucks from at 00-22.00.

Fortunately, there is a stand that stood on the right side of the road in this tiban market. There were selling cheese and salami, knick-knacks women, clothing, jewelry and home decoration, tapes, plants and flowers, confectionary such as French crepes, Italian pizza, sausage German, Hungarian Langos and much more. All tumplek tin there. Even the town square planted with toys such as Carousel, barrels devil, roller coasters and the like. Clowns who entertain children with balloons and street musicians of the Indians, as if giving an amazingly beautiful color. Similarly, the two merry Flohmarkt (flea market).
As long holidays, people looked very happy to take advantage of this Monday with the kids. Today is the first day of vacation Pfingsten owned school for two weeks (except kindergarten). Rock On is a lot, so liburnyaaaa long (2 weeks of Christmas and baru-Des/Jan years, 1 week Fastnachtferien-February 2-March Easter holiday week, 2 weeks Pfingsten-May, the 6 week holiday hike-late July to September plus national holidays ). Arghh .... preparing low-festive event again, ya! Visiting friends, relatives, neighbors, into the woods, pilgrimage, swimming, carefully ... especially yak?

In this outing, we met with some acquaintances. They say the goal is to come to the market looking for interesting sights Pfingsten because rather than at home. So do not just young children, teens, parents and even the elderly were many in attendance. There are also some couples who have a reason to come to please their children, mumpung on vacation.

While the sellers, of course unpredictable ... earn a fortune for.

Hui. After an hour of walking around, ask ya Nowa fussy home. OK, deh. Enough is enough. Congratulations to the holiday celebrated Pfingsten.
